Every Wednesday, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Shiloh 5th Avenue United Church, and the New Westminster Neighbourhood House together distribute groceries to our neighbours of non-perishable and fresh items. We also give out cat and dog food.
If you prefer, you may line up at 10:00 am for a number. Numbers are issued on a first come/first serve basis, beginning around 10:00 am. Clients must be present to receive a number. Only one number is issued per client. At 11:00 am, when food distribution starts, the clients with a number are served first, then everyone else in line is served in order. A number is not required for service, however clients arriving at 11:00 am will be served after those with numbers.
The food distribution happens in our hall, beginning at 11:00 am.
