Every Wednesday, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm (please note this time will change to 11:00 am to 2:00 pm beginning August 5), St. Barnabas Anglican Church and Shiloh 5th Avenue United Church distribute groceries to our neighbours of non-perishable and fresh items. We also give out cat and dog food.
If you prefer, you may line up at 10:00 am for a number. Numbers are issued on a first come/first serve basis, beginning around 10:00 am. Clients must be present to receive a number. Only one number is issued per client. At 1:00 pm (11:00 am beginning August 5), when food distribution starts, the clients with a number are served first, then everyone else in line is served in order. A number is not required for service, however clients arriving at 1:00 pm will be served after those with numbers.
The food distribution happens in our hall, beginning at 1:00 pm (11:00 am beginning August 5).
